2-3m section of westbound carriageway in very poor condition and is now a hazard to cyclists

This appears to have been the subject of previous (ineffective) patching, but 3-4 potholes are now appearing, together with a number of cracks. This requires a more extensive repair than just pothole filling.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.

  • Investigation: Completed (Duplicate), Defect Repair: Not Started - We can confirm that we have already been made aware of this issue. A works order has been raised which you can follow on 8667191 The expected completion date for these works will be 14/07/2026 likely sooner.
