Give Way sign partially covered by hedge

This has been a problem for years, but I've only just discovered this website. The Give Way sign for the T-junction at Charlbury Road at the end of the road from Leafield is only visible at the last minute. The 20 mile a hour signs at the start of the road opposite are very visible from much further away. This gives the illusion, in the dark, that the T junction is further away than it actually is. I can see this causing less hesitant drivers to overshoot the junction and enter the Charlbury Road from the side road without checking.
