The Current Situation • Extreme Danger: Drivers are instinctively swerving into the opposite lane at a blind junction to avoid the crater. This is no longer a "road defect"; it is a collision trap that is actively facilitating head-on crashes. • Negligence: This hazard was formally reported months ago. The continued lack of intervention is a documented failure of the Council’s duty of care. • Imminent Risk: With every rain cycle and heavy vehicle pass, the crater expands, further narrowing the "safe" path and increasing the likelihood of a fatal incident.
