Persistent flooding

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8641956.

Yet again this section is flooding with nowhere for the water to drain away to.

Has had water across for over a month, a weeks dry weather and it will start to recede in the middle but even a small shower will see water completely cover the road again.

It's not just rain water but because its been there so long is now dirty and smells strongly.

Drainage in the area needs reviewing. it's not unusual for this short section to temporarily flood in heavy rain, I have been using the same route for many years, but now just does not seem to clear and once flooded will stay so for months on end.

  • Road surface now breaking up badly under the water, impossible to see the very large potholes.

  • Flooding seems to have been fixed, just normal puddles even after heavy rain. surface in poor condition but at least you can see the holes now.
