760 Queens Drive by steps

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 13:44, Wednesday 7 January 2026

Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8641491.

Caved in yet again because of poor fix previously, crack to the left of it in middle lane needs smoothing over. Horrendous noise and vibration in our home yet again.

Updates

  • This was originally reported on the 6th January. I received an email on the 12th January from Wendy at Liverpool City Council. Her email stated it will be resolved by the 20th January, which it hasn't. There was dry weather last week when this could have been repaired. This is on a major busy City Highway with horrendous noise and vibration with HGV's thudding over this at speed coming off the M62 towards the Docks. Our home is being shook to it's foundations making it impossible to sleep, vehicles will be damaged, just like the blow out the man had to pay for on the adjoining Pothole which was also neglected to be fixed promptly. This thing is getting larger and deeper and has a crack on the middle lane. This is the 4th time since last January these Potholes keep caving in.

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 15:40, Wednesday 4 February 2026

  • Pothole still not fixed causing horrendous noise and vibration from HGV's speeding over it. The floors in the upstairs front bedrooms are shaking, cracks appearing alll over the walls and ceiling in my elderly Mother's bedroom. Am I just to wait till the ceiling eventually comes down? Council aware of all these problems regards these 2 botched Pothole repairs and do nothing, we are just meant to sit and watch our house be damaged. It's like living in an Earthquake zone severely affacting our sleep, health and mental well being. Complaints registered with Council and informed 2 Councillors and still they all do nothing.

  • This Pothole caved in December, reported to Council on the 6th January. Situated on a major busy 3 lane Highway off the M62 and still not repaired after 35 DAYS. Just left to get bigger and deeper whilst our home has been left with shaking foundations and cracks appearing all upstairs due to tonnes of weight crashing down onto it, made even more ill by lack of sleep and stress trying to get them to fix it, and not the first time they have put me through this. Road a complete disgrace and needs re-surface. That is a 30CM length Ruler so you can see just how big they've let it become, the depth of that Crater shows almost 50MM. Failed to repair it in reasonable time or class as a High Priority Cat 1 hazard. Have email telling me it would be fixed by the 20th January. At Stage 2 of a Complaint and still they just leave it. road cracks and a massive crater up by the School. Expect many claims for damaged vehicle too from this section of neglected road.

  • My bedroom wall is still shaking and shelves rattling from the vibration. Surface uneven, Came out on 12th February, this is about the 4th time and I'm just incredulous and exhausted at this point from complete lack of sleep for 4 months from noise and vibration. The left and middle lane of this 3 lane carriageway needs proper re-surfacing. 2 days later and this is what we have, splitting and hole opening up again. You can clearly see the road is sloping because of the indents in the surface from years of heavy HGV traffic. There is also absolutely no point doing these patches, complete waste of money when Liverpool City Council fails to address the stream of water constantly running over these things from their blocked grids and gullies along this stretch of road. Absolutely disgusting treating people like this time and time again.
