Black ice coming off footbridge - cyclists coming off bikes

Sent to Newport Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8639096.

The footpath from the Wave, past the Riverfront theatre and towards the university buildings has severe black ice this morning. Pedestrians are slipping. I saw 2 cyclists fall off their bikes as they came over the footbridge onto Kutaisi Walk and I’ve been told now of a third cyclist who has fallen. It needs gritting please.
