Poor and damaged and disintegrating pavement surface along Purlewent Drive

Reported via mobile in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 19:25, Tue 30 December 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8607692.

The pavements have suffered from heavy vehicles and building work being undertaken since 2019, plus more recent utilities being installed below the surface along the pavements. The road surface has been replaced in the last year or so but the pavements are now dangerous in many places and need urgent repair.

  • Hi there. Please can you clarify what you have asked the contractor to do? My request was for the entirety of Purlewent Drive to be resurfaced. Is that happening? The photos I took were from around the entire Drive, not just one section. Spot repairs will just waste council money.

  • Hi, it's been more than three months since reporting the dangerous and disintegrating pavements outside the property and the paint marks have almost washed off. Could you let us know if repair work is scheduled please? Many thanks.
