Step/Curb on Green Lane Cycle Path

Reported in the Roads/highways category by Robert Whittaker at 21:41, Thu 14 July 2016

Sent to Norfolk County Council 4 minutes later

On the 3Y6 Green Lane cycle path, just north of the junction with Charlock Road, the the tarmac section ends. The compacted gravel material further north has been eroded away leaving a significant step.

This step could be a danger to cyclists and will make navigation by those with pushchairs and wheelchairs very difficult.

I reported this same issue to you a few years ago, and it was addressed then by the addition of more sub-base material to create a level join. This has now eroded again. Perhaps a more permanent solution could be found this time -- either a short extension to the tarmac area with a sloping end under the grand level, or an extension to the tarmac path so that it ends on more level ground.
