Damaged road guardrails and damaged verge bollard

The guardrail next to the road ditch has been hit and is lying in pieces, it needs replacing. The verge marker on other side of road is damaged and needs replacing. Both damaged items can be seen in the photo.

  • Not sure why this defect is labelled “fixed”. It is not fixed, all that was done was the broken items were removed and a new guard rail hasn’t been installed.

  • Updating as requested by FixMyStreet. The damaged bird lip fencing was removed. Was informed by Hampshire Highway the fencing will not be reinstalled. Awaiting a response on why the verge marker wasn’t replaced as reported and seen in the photo. I have also requested some type of barrier or verge marker to be installed in place of the bird lip fencing as this is a sharp drop off in the ditch. Awaiting a response.
