Puddle and mud collects on road at drop kerb

Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category anonymously at 19:08, Tue 23 December 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8587043.

Since Shortlands Road was re-surfaced, the drop kerb at the bottom of the driveway of 31 Shortlands Road is lower than the surrounding road and pavement. As a result, water and mud tends to collect there. Over time, this will wear away at the surface and make a larger hole. It should be higher so that water and mud runs away to the drain, as works well on the rest of the length of the road.
