Ivy bins

Reported via desktop in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 18:02, Tue 23 December 2025

Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8586856.

Ivy is repeatedly using the alleyway as a dumping and storage area for rubbish instead of disposing of it properly. Large items such as wooden pallets and bins are left in the alleyway for several days at a time. This causes ongoing obstruction and prevents the alleyway from being used as intended. The rubbish creates an untidy and unsanitary environment, attracts pests, and poses potential health and safety risks. The blocked access can also interfere with emergency access, waste collection, and neighbouring properties’ right of way. Despite this being a shared or public space, Ivy continues this behaviour on a regular basis, showing a lack of consideration for others who rely on the alleyway. Overall, this is an inappropriate use of the space and requires immediate action to prevent further disruption and hazards.
