United Utilities left road a mess after works

Hello, United Utilities have recently done some works here, the pavement and road has clay, mud, gravel covering a few metres and looks a total mess. Would they be responsible for coming back and making sure its left tidier? Its not a hazard, but it doesn't look like any effort has been made to put it back how it was or tidy up after themselves.
