Pothole around a surface water gulley on SW side of Winchester Road about 25 yards NW of The Square, Wickham

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8580937.

This pothole was temporarily dealt with 2 or 3 days ago, but the repair has already failed, leaving a larger void in the road than before. The road is very narrow at this point, making it often unavoidable for traffic to avoid, assuming that drivers and riders even see it in time. At the moment, it is full with water.

  • A temporary repair was made within 24 hours. However, the metal gulley grate appears to have sunk even further below the road surface. Many vehicles try to avoid it, but it is not always possible as the road is quite narrow.
