Please come and sweep

Reported via iOS in the Leaves or blossom category anonymously at 11:48, Mon 22 December 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8579674.

This is the grass side of Regent Street. Please see the sign shows you exactly where to look the wall that runs alongside the park path where cars are usually parked is full of compressed and decay leaves. There’s also a large amount of tree debris on top of the wall that’s never cleared. The drains and gullies are blocked so the path floods and the pavement is on a steep Campbell which makes it really slippery. Over Christmas the road will be virtually empty. It will be a really good time. If you can get one of your street sweeping lorries it’ll be done in 20 minutes.

  • You keep saying this problem has been fixed, but it has not been touched. Photos today are from the 19th of January. Shows path covered in rotting leaf material. Shows gullies and gutters completely covered so the water floods. Shows edge of cambered pavement leading to driveway completely blocked so water cannot run off. Shows drain cover completely covered at both ends. This issue has been going on for years and nobody in the council‘s street. Cleaning department seems to have it on a rotor. This needs to happen as it a hazard.
