Is it possible to get parking permits or repairing the road layout for residents by removing the grass verge banking. The street is logged daily by multiple (dozens) of taxis idolling waiting on other fares after school drop offs. They're is also a really bad bend, just above the school entrance which means cars up the street park further down causing insufficient parking for other residents.
Woodnook drive is a long street, though the top is overcrowded with cars due to the poor bend & no parking available due to the grass verge banking which is unmanageable & inconvenient.
There is a solution:
Removing the grass banking which is dangerous, slippy, overgrown & sloped, which would widen the road for the busy periods. Prevent cars being knocked which has happened multiple times to my own vehicle. This option would be much more ideal, especially for those at the top of the street to park outside their own homes & relieving more spaces for those further down.
Its absolute chaos, cars also illegally double park, on the doubke yellows outside the school frequently, they also drive down the pavement which is a regular occurrence.
The road is too narrow for parking as well as being a two way street.
This really needs looking into urgently.
Thank you
