No entry signs do not face southbound drivers

Pedestrians are constantly having to dodge cars turning left (the wrong way) into the taxi rank. I’ve witnessed 3 near misses now in the past 4 days!

  • Unbelievable that this hadn’t been fixed, given the obvious risk to pedestrians from road users who cannot see the signs.

    Liability clearly sits with Gosport Borough Council should a fatality take place on this site. There have been enough near misses already.

  • Two months after reporting this, still nothing has been done. Pedestrians still have to dodge drivers ignorant of the signage, who turn left to cut into the taxi rank the wrong way.
