New crossing installed over last few week's, today they removed the traffic flow system and left the new pedestrian crossing with no light on it

Tonight I was the third person in 10 mins to hit the island as I drove off from the junction on Radstone Rd to join Northampton Rd going towards Brackley centre and blew out 2 tyres, 1 front and 1 back. There was no lights or reflective barriers on the island and 3 street lights were not operating around it. After I had hit it someone who worked locally found some barriers and cones and put them on and round it to stop anyone else from doing the same. I feel it was left in an unsafe state with no warnings or lights, for people to be able to see it was there.
