Dangerous pothole

This is a rapidly expanding pothole which has doubled in size within a week. It is a massive danger to cyclists and this is a busy 50mph road where swerving into the opposite lane is not safe on this unsighted section. Driving through it in any normal car risks severe tyre and wheel damage. OK in a large 4x4 or van but perilous in a normal car. Needs urgent attention for safety.

  • Yes there are two between woodeaten and Islip it's dangerous. I think my clutch is now having problems after having to replace my tyre apparently clutch problems happen after impact from a pot hole. I'm scared to drive that way now and I'm forced to on a Monday.

  • Disgraceful that this is till there. There are now loads along that stretch of road and nearly caused an accident today with someone swerving to avoid it, that would certainly cause damage to a tyre.
