Multiple cars parked on grass verge and pavements

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 08:15, Fri 8 July 2016

Sent to East Dorset District Council 4 minutes later

The lack of road parking restrictions on Victoria Road has encouraged one family or group of people to park multiple vehicles on the grass verge, pavement and into the road (they appear to be running a motor related business from their home). There is 1 to 8 vehicles parked on both sides of the road at all times and the problem only seems to be increasing with time. The obstructions are narrowing pavement access for pedestrians (not leaving enough room for a pushchair or wheelchair) and often causing traffic chaos as larger vehicles are unable to pass when there are queues of traffic on both sides of the road running up the the traffic lights at the crossroads. There is always several cars parked almost IN the bus shelter (they are so close) and this restricts visibility and access for bus users.
