Reinstatement of Road Defective

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8558734.

Under previous enquiry ENQ251064871, the response was that it warranted attention within 28 days. As yet, no repairs has been carried and now the road surface either side of the defective reinstatement is failing with cracking and crazing. Can you advise when work is programmed to be carried out to provide a permanent reinstatement.

    Road surface has further deteriorated and requires proper reinstatement.

  • Thank you for your report. Due to the severe weather conditions, our gritting schedule, and the festive break, our contractors currently have a backlog of pothole repairs. However, we are actively communicating with them to rectify the situation and get back on track to complete all outstanding repairs as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
