A pothole in road problem

Highways know the location as you have made numerous repairs in recent years but these are always poor quality and never last. That section of road needs a drain under it and completely resurfacing.

Work to repair this pothole has been planned. Work is usually completed within 28 days or sooner.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.

I am pleased to inform you this pothole has been repaired.
Gloucestershire County Council is responsible for almost 6,000km of roads and each one is routinely inspected (on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis, depending on the type of road). Issues can develop quickly in between these inspections and residents help by reporting problems online.
