Temprary Diversion sign restricting vision

Reported via desktop in the Damaged / Missing / Facing Wrong Way category anonymously at 08:55, Wed 17 December 2025

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8557894.

A Temporary B4525 Diversion sign is blocking vision for drivers exiting Manor Lane onto the A422. This junction is already a dangerous exit without this sign being in place

Updates

  • Thank you for reporting a fault. Officers will now investigate the concerns and this may take up to 5 working days. If you believe that your concerns are urgent then please phone us.

    State changed to: Investigating

  • When can we learn about your Officer's investigation? It seems totally irresponsible for a professional traffic management sign in such a position, in the eyeline of drivers trying to exit Manor Lane onto a busy and dangerous Main Road. Without this sign it was already very difficult with drivers only able to get a late glimpse of oncoming traffic. There are much better places to put such a sign, if the sign is actually necessary eg Between the Bus Shelter and the Church Entrance gate
