Ridiculous location

Sent to Milton Keynes Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8551040.
The traffic-lights on Ashmore Roundabout are superfluous to requirement. They are NOT needed and cause unnecessary delay and pollution. When they were out of use for a few weeks, awhile ago, the traffic flowed easily and efficiently. Perhaps they are necessary at peak times only, but, the rest of the time they are not needed. The matter needs attention and resolution.

Agreed. I travel west on Groveway to turn right onto the A5 at about 6pm. Ever since the lights were reinstated, the lights at this precise point turn green for too short a time. Sometimes only 4 cars go before the lights turn red. If the first driver is more alert 5 or 6 can go. This is inefficient, and causes a tailback past the previous lights. Solution: take the lights out of service again, or do a MUCH better job on the sequencing please, such as longer time intervals.

MK Council has closed the e-mail address FixMyStreet uses. I presume this is because "thou shalt not criticise MK council"!
