Blind turning

Reported via iOS in the Other Road Issues category anonymously at 11:17, Mon 15 December 2025

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8548724.

Exiting Outlands lane is incredibly dangerous. You can not see to the right at all. If you edge any further forward you are sticking out in the road. Not helped by the fact the road is 50mph but cars always do 60mph. Also Not helped by the open reach post as seen in the photo. It’s constant beeping where someone pulls out blind onto an oncoming vehicle. This junction needs urgently looking at to help visibility. Or to slow traffic. A roundabout, traffic lights, a pedestrian crossing. This was identidied in the neighbourhood plan as a primary route for cycling and walking also. There isn’t even a pavement though into Outlands lane though. So you are stood in the road and a car can just turn in blind at any point
