I have emailed the local Councillor on this matter.
Good evening Councillor Wilson
I was emailing to ask if you could look into the state of the road surface on the central reservation of the A90 at the Laurencekirk junction south (50mph section). The road condition has been poor for a long time, so I decided to raise an enquiry on the Fix my street website. I noticed that there was an enquiry raised in February for the same section, and previous in July 2016 for the same. I feel the road condition is very poor, and owing to the poor condition of road markings, is now dangerous. I am aware that coming out of the weather conditions we have been experiencing of late there is pressure on the roads maintenance teams, but this is something that had been an issue for a long time and I am surprised that routine checks have not highlighted this before now, especially with this being an accident black spot.
