Experienced strong impact to front nearside wheel

Approaching Hinckley Road roundabout from Braunstone Way, preparing to turn left onto Hinckley Road. As traffic lights turned in our favour, my queue moved forward and that's when I hit a pothole. The time was about 17:30hrs on 11th November so it was dark and the traffic was dense and stopping to look would have been challenging. I judged that it was safe to continue.my journey. Clearly, there is a road surface defect of some significance.
