Pothole approx 14 inches near edge of road. Very deep.

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8529860.

The pothole is on the left near edge of road on the Banbury Road around 1 mile from Maidford Lodge going towards Litchborough. I don't know how long the pothole has been there but I drove over it and felt lucky I didn't lose a wheel. It's very deep and needs attending to asap.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.
