Various potholes from the A5 junction at Heathencote all the way to Shutlanger village.

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8528916.

There are various potholes along the stretch of the road from The A5 junction all the way past the Towcester sewage works towards Shutlanger.(Main Road) It needs someone to drive along the road and mark up and repair all the potholes.

A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.

  • This pothole is massive and I have just witnessed nearly a head on collision due to a driver swerving to miss the pothole. Also further down the road towards Towcester, the roads are full of large potholes which I have seen peoples wheels/tyres being damaged. This is getting extremely dangerous

  • Due to heavy rain the holes have got even worse. This road should be a priority to now be fixed, not take 26 weeks to be fixed!
