12 inch pothole 4 inches deep with viable rebar showing

This is a new pot hole on a newly made up road . A wider area shows signs of breakup. Reinforcing metal bars can be seen in the hole. Hole is approx 12 inches wide and 4 inches deep

  • The big hole was fixed within 24 hours, I also reported directly to the council and to my local councilor. The road had recently been re-laid end to end and the council will be meeting the contractor in the new year to review the other areas of break up and resolve the underlying issue ! the surface should not have broken up within just a few months.
