The Twistle at the Boddington Road End Full of potholes

The Twistle has lots and lots of potholes and some are very deep. There is no footpath or edge of road and the road is being used as a cut through by very heavy lorries. They are destroying the tarmac, edges of roads and creating huge potholes. There was a serious accident recently about half way down near junction of Bell Lane. This road has been neglected for years and now with lorry use which the road cannot support the weight.,

A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.
