Please get rid of the weeds growing along the back edge of the pavements

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category by David Howard at 10:00, Sat 2 July 2016

Sent to Hampshire County Council and Winchester City Council 5 minutes later

There are weeds the whole way along the doorways on Eastgate Street, particularly outside the council-owned Grade II Listed Georgian houses near the statue. It doesn't look good for tourists, let alone residents.

  • No, it ruddy well hasn't been dealt with! Meanwhile, Abbey Gardens and the roundabout have been endlessly tittivated - but to what end if the pavements are left to look so scruffy! It gives a terrible impression to the visitors that The Abbey Gardens efforts are aimed at impressing. How hard/expensive can it be?!
