12 inch approx pothole close to kerb and telegraph pole

This pothole has been gradually getting bigger for a couple of months but has really opened up and got wider in the past couple of weeks. Difficult to avoid when we turn into our driveway. If you drive from the Chacombe direction into the village it’s between property number 4 and 2a next to a telegraph pole. There is also a big pothole in the middle of the road in the same area.

  • There are 2 deep potholes now, these are making drivers have to drive in the middle of the road. This is very dangerous.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.
