Slipping hazard

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 18:22, Mon 8 December 2025

Sent to Torbay Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8519341.

There are a very large number of apples on the pavement and in and around the lay-by almost opposite Chestnut School at the top of Chestnut Drive. Great shame that they aren’t picked or gathered up for public collection in autumn - maybe a project for the school? Right now they present a slipping hazard.

Updates

  • Thank you so much SWISCO / Torbay Council for removing the huge number of apples from the lay-by. Much appreciated.
