The verges of Lampern Hill are being destroyed and the edge of the highway with them because of traffic using this narrow lane to get around the closure of Whiteway
Reported via desktop in the A pothole in pavement category anonymously at 17:27, Mon 8 December 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8519142.
All the way up Lampern Hill from The Manse at the bottom to Lampern House near the top. Vehicles, including wide vehicles are travelling far too fast on the hill. My son, travelling up the hill, was driven off the road by a landrover on the blind bend at the point marked and the sharp edge of the highway burst his near front tyre. This point is adjacent to the farm drive at the top end of the wall of Bencombe House
