Faded solid white line.

Reported via desktop in the Road signage category anonymously at 13:41, Mon 8 December 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council 6 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 8517589.

Several years ago Bristol City Council painted a solid white line in the road, this was to allow me to access my car from the garage into Russell Road. Over time this line has faded and as a result car owners have begun parking over the faded white line, which can cause me manoeuvring difficulties.

Will the council please repaint this line.

Updates

  • Further to my report of yesterday, regarding the faded white line.

When I attempted to gain access into Russell Road from my garage area this morning, it was very difficult to do so given the inconsiderate parking and the width of Russell Road.

I hope that these visual images will help you to understand my difficulties and take some action.

  • I reported two problems, the first being the above which has not been attended to The second issue is a blocked drain which the council claimed had been fixed, but had never been visited.
