Tree is damaged problem

Customer reports that a tree has fallen through the fence and onto their vehicle, in the nearest parking bay to the verge, at the location; damage has been caused and they wish to claim. Furthermore, they report a cluster of dead trees in the same location as the one that has fallen, which could potentially fall onto the road or nearby pavement and cause injury; one is resting against SL Unit 4/5. They ask that this is investigated urgently and would like to speak to an officer (they are not available on 09/12/2025).

This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
An update on the issue will be provided.
