Weak Trees

Sent to Halton Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8514323.

There are a number of weakened branches on a number of trees that cover Red Brow Lane as you walk down towards the canal bridge. One has already fallen. The area needs to be assessed to reduce the risk of even more large tree branches coming down.

    Another branch has fallen recently. Only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured by falling branches.

    Over 3 months since this issue was raised and nothing has been done about it. Another branch has come down since. Also, the the overhang needs to be assessed for safety reasons.

  • This issue was originally raised on 8th December 2025. Updates were requested on 16th December 2025 and 16th March 2026. No response has been received.

    Can this be addressed instead of being ignored please. More branches have come down recently. There is also an issue with litter and debris along Red Brow Lane towards the canal bridge/railway crossing. This area needs clearing.

    If this is not your remit, please advise who would be responsible for dealing with it.
