Dropped curb

Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 09:54, Sun 7 December 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8511784.

There is a dropped curb on our road but the paintwork does not align. Either this curb has been illegally dropped or the paintwork has not been adjusted accordingly . This is outside number 31. The curb was dropped at least over a year ago as I recall it but there have been cars parking next to it as the paintwork suggests you can park there.

Updates

  • Thank you for your enquiry. This issue has been passed onto the relevant team for investigation.

    State changed to: Investigating

  • Thank you for your enquiry. White Access Protection markings are separate from Dropped kerbs. These are privately funded by the property owner (and refreshed accordingly after roadworks). If a dropped kerb has been extended, then it will be up to the property owner to contact the council to also request an extension to the access protection. These are only advisory lines and not enforceable by the parking team.

    State changed to: Investigation complete
