Tarmac has dropped causing a large 2-3 metre length crack

The road has dropped which has caused the tarmac to split in two areas of the road and when driving it pulls the vehicle to one side which is dangerous.

  • This issues is extremely dangerous, vehicles are swearing into the opposite lane to avoid this issue. Needs to be rectified sooner than the planned date in june

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.

  • Breakage is now heading into main carriageway & got run off the road this morning when a lorry heading towards Charwelton caught it wrong & came straight over into my lane. Could so easliy have lead to a serious crash
