We have investigated this report and found the vehicle to be taxed; a taxed vehicle is a strong indicator of an interested party and therefore the vehicle is not considered to be abandoned at this time and no further action will be taken. You can check the tax status of a vehicle online via: https://www.gov.uk/ check-vehicle-tax. Insurance or MOT issues should be directed to the Police as Bromley do not have the statutory powers to deal with this type of offence.
State changed to: No further action

The car is still blocking entry to Morley Road from Watts Lane by the width restrictors. Residents believe that this is a major safety hazard as emergency vehicles cannot enter Morley Road and there are roadworks on Crown Lane so entry is not possible that way. Coopers School is at the end of the road. The police are not interested because the car is taxed and you are taking the same view. Somebody needs to do something

The vehicle is taxed, insured, parked legally, and is not in a controlled zone. It is not therefore not considered abandoned.
