Another Long Deep Gully / Rut

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8507332.

Yet another long deep gully / Rut at the edge of school road.

There are multiple deep nasty potholes along this rut as well.

Please can the edge of the road by resurfaced

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.

  • Hi can an update be provided as the when a defect repair will be scheduled to be carried out on this accepted defect of a long deep rut running along School Road for the entire length outside the Parish Hall Car Park.

    I note that the defect was accepted on Wednesday 10th December 2025 as a priority 4 defect and an average response time for a priority 4 defect stated as 59 days.

    59 days from Wednesday 10th December 2025 would be Saturday 7th February 2026.

    Can you confirm if the repair will be scheduled to be carried out by then?

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. We can confirm that we have been made aware of this issue and a works order has been raised on a routine safety inspection. The expected completion date for these works will be 10/06/26. Please note that the 59 days timeline is an average. The expected date is 10/06/26 which is within the Service Level Agreement.
