I reported this issue on Friday 5th & rang on Monday 8th. This issue is getting worse and could potentially be dangerous. I spoke to someone on Monday who said Highways would come out and asses the problem. Nothing has happened to date. Please update the situation.

This issue is audibly worse and very disturbing to anyone trying to work or sleep in the vicinity. It looks unstable and with the rain forecast, I wouldn’t want to be a cyclist or motorcyclist discovering how loose it is. Please can someone attend asap.

The rocking is incredibly loud now, waking up our family and neighbours at night. Given the volume the cover must be loose enough to present a safety issue and needs addressing soon.

I spoke to the roads department on 23/12 and was told someone was coming to look at the issue on 29/12. This hasn’t happened and the loose pothole poses a significant safety issue and noise pollution

The initial repair was clearly temporary cold lay tarmac over the man hole. This is now flaking off and the loud noise persists. Could you update on when a permanent fix will be in place please.

A job has been raised with our contractors to action this issue and appropriate repairs or maintenance will be undertaken as soon as they can.
