Very large surface water flood

Reported via desktop in the Other public drainage issue category by Fiona Radic at 09:58, Fri 5 December 2025

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8504945.

The gulleys running along the middle of the pavement on either side of the flood are significantly above the level of the flooding, which was 3 - 4 sq metres wide last night, and quite deep. The flooding coincides with one of the entrances to Rivergate, so is where pedestrians and cyclists are going in four different directions. This looks terrible and will be extremely dangerous as well as thoroughly unpleasant when it freezes over as well. Please can a new gulley be inserted to drain the lowest point?
