Speed safety warning turned off for police mobile camera

The sign is located 150 yards before the layby where the police mobile speed camera stalks it prey. This passive speed warning reminds drivers of the speed they should be travelling, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. This effectively reduced vehicle speeds and increased pedestrian safety For many weeks now, Instead of doing the job it was placed there for it seems to have been disabled so the county council can benefit from the speeding fines incurred
