• Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.

• This pot hole is getting bigger and cannot be seen in heavy rain when this portion of the road floods. Its location in the middle of a narrow road means traffic going both ways will hit the pot-hole with their off-side wheel.

  This pothole is much deeper now following the rain this week. This part of the road floods badly so has made the hole worse. Being in the middle of the highway, vehicles from both directions can hit this. A repair date by June is not good enough.

• This pothole is causing many issues now, it is becoming bigger and deeper weekly, and bits of loose tarmac are going on to the surrounding road. It cannot be seen in heavy rain and could damage tyres or even cause an accident. It is also close to a junction and cars are having to enter the other side of the road to avoid it. Please can this be looked at urgently

• This pot hole is now extremely large at around 24" across. It is very clear the previous repair has failed. It needs urgent attention.

• The pothole is now massive and very deep. The road is a bus route. It has the ability to cause severe damage to any vehicle hitting it especially in the dark. A date of 04/06/2026 is not acceptable. Please review.
