The speed-detection sign here has been removed for some reason, and it was working perfectly well. This is a spot where children cross, and cars come speeding off the A316 straight into a 20mph zone. The sign acted as an important deterrent. Please either reinstate the speed sign or install a proper pedestrian crossing on Hospital Bridge Road towards Staines Road, as it is currently unsafe for families.
