Overgrown hedges blocking footpath
Reported via mobile anonymously at 21:59, Tue 2 December 2025
Sent to East Lothian Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8494251.
This is a busy stretch of road opposite a primary school and nursery. The hedges bordering the footpath are extremely overgrown which means it is impossible for more than one person to use the footpath at one time. Any parents with children or buggies can’t safely use the footpath, and if someone is coming in the opposite direction you have to step into the street. If they were trimmed back it would greatly improve safety on this stretch of path.

The same concerns remain, that people have to step out into the street when passing the overgrown hedges. This is directly opposite a primary school with lots of busy footfall. This is an accident waiting to happen.
