Come on NCC what on earth is going on here, this is poor work at the lowest level. Tar sealed edges lasted less than 12 hours and it’s flaking away, utter disgrace

  • Thanks You for your report. This does not meet the Councils criteria for a pothole repair. Northumberland County Council will instruct repairs on hazardous defects once a depth of ≥40mm and ≥300mm wide in any direction is assessed on a road. For a footway we will instruct repairs at an intervention level of ≥ 20mm. Each report is risk assessed by our Highways Inspection team up inspection.
