Footpaths not clear and seemed to be blocked by fencing or overgrown vegetation
Reported via desktop in the Path/Way illegally diverted category anonymously at 18:15, Sun 30 November 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8483332.
Tried to use these paths today - had an ordnance survey map and we are used to map reading. The paths on the map do seem to correspond to paths on the online map. Descended to style on grass track from whiteway. Steps damaged but clear path. On reaching style on track at valley bottom, it was really unclear where the paths went. Walked around field boundary to avoid excitable cattle(who did then ignore us). All exits seemed to be fenced off and one possible path (or maybe animal track) was blocked with vegetation. A shoot (and a new track at top of wood) seemed to be in place - maybe path diverted but no sign or indication of where to go.
