Pelican Crossing

Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8471732.

The double pelican crossing is either faulty or the pedestrian priorities have been altered, when a pedestrian requests crossing use, the lights change in the pedestrians favour, allowing them to cross, but as of yesterday (I use the crossing 4 times a day, every day), the light stay on green for car traffic, the lights do not change even when the road is clear, this makes pedestrians have to wait and wait, and is likely to be a risk for them. Can you get an engineers out to ensure they change when a pedestrians requests as soon as possible,
